By day I work at Advancis Software & Services near Frankfurt. I lead a small team that connects WinGuard, a platform for security and building management, to hardware from all kinds of manufacturers. I’m also the person in charge of our technical documentation. That means strategy, standards, a guild of about ten colleagues, and a docs pipeline built on Hugo, just like this site.
Before that I spent quite a few years at TU Darmstadt. I finished with two Master’s degrees, one in IT security and one in computer science (with distinction), and on the side I mentored students and ran workshops for them.
Side projects#
In my free time I build small browser extensions. Letterboxd Streaming Providers tells you which films you can stream right now, and Old Wiki brings back the classic Wikipedia look. Both are open source. Have a look at the projects page if you’re curious.
